Angela Zemingui

Overview
Angela is a summer student at Heer Law with a keen interest in intellectual property law. She is drawn to the field for its dynamic intersection with innovation and the complex legal challenges it presents, offering her the opportunity to remain engaged with cutting-edge developments across industries.
Legal Education
Angela is a rising third year law student at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. During her legal studies, she has contributed as a research volunteer with the Future of Law Lab, where she explored the implications of the Online News Act. She is also actively involved in community outreach, including initiatives like the Black Future Lawyers program, reflecting her commitment to equity and access in the legal profession.
Pre-Law Education
Angela holds an Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences from Western University, where she specialized in Biochemistry and Human Pathology. While at Western, she was actively engaged in student life through the Out of Province Students' Association and the Leadership & Academic Mentorship Program. Her volunteer work with the City of London and her experience in a healthcare law course ultimately solidified her passion for pursuing a legal career.
